International Orders & Shipping
JILL'S CLOSET welcomes orders from overseas. Please read the following information before placing your order.
Dispatch Time
For international orders, we ship within 15 days after payment is confirmed, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and peak periods.
As all items are handmade, preparation times may vary depending on order volume and busy seasons.
This is the time required before dispatch, not the estimated arrival time. Transit times vary by destination and may be affected by customs procedures.
Shipping Fees
International orders are shipped via Japan Post EMS.

EMS Insurance
EMS includes compensation coverage of up to 20,000 JPY without an additional insurance fee, subject to Japan Post’s terms.
For items worth more than 20,000 JPY, higher coverage requires a declared amount and an additional fee at the time of posting. Japan Post’s maximum coverage is 2,000,000 JPY, subject to applicable conditions.
The maximum coverage does not automatically apply to every shipment. Compensation is subject to the insured amount, actual loss, and Japan Post’s claim requirements.
Payment Method
We accept payment by credit card: Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club.
3D Secure 2.0 Authentication
We use 3D Secure 2.0 to help make online credit card payments more secure.
Depending on your card issuer, you may need to activate its authentication service or complete verification during checkout. Please follow your card issuer’s instructions.

Cancellations
We do not accept order cancellations once payment has been completed.
Taxes & Handling Fees
Amount Displayed as Consumption Tax
For international orders, the amount displayed as consumption tax is charged as an international shipping handling fee.
Customs Duties & Import Taxes
Buyers are responsible for any applicable customs duties and import taxes.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures.
Damaged Packages & Forwarding Services

Orders Using an International Forwarding Service
Please note that we cannot accept returns or exchanges for items purchased using an international forwarding service, even if the item is defective.
Tracking Status: “Import Canceled”
If your tracking result shows “Import Canceled,” please contact the destination country’s postal service or your nearest post office to confirm the reason and any action required.
The tracking message alone may not explain the reason. Please obtain details from the postal service handling your shipment.
Photo Discount Program
Please note that overseas customers are not eligible for the photo discount program.
We have experienced difficulties matching photo submissions with overseas orders when names are written in different languages or scripts.
However, we would still love to see photos of your dog wearing our products and may feature them on our Instagram account. We look forward to seeing your pictures!
Order Changes & Additions
For overseas orders paid by credit card, changes or additions may not be reflected in the original payment, depending on the card issuer’s processing requirements.
If you wish to change or add to your order, please contact us by email first.
For requests we can accept, the original order will be canceled and a revised order will be processed.
Requests may not be accepted depending on timing and stock availability.
Once shipping information has been sent to you, changes or additions can no longer be made.
